About the Artist
Carina Wetterlöf is an artist based in Stockholm, Sweden, where she lives with her husband and their two cats. She was born and raised in the small coastal town of Oskarshamn, approximately four hours south from Stockholm, where her love for creativity began at an early age.
Artistic expression has always been a natural part of Carina’s life.
From painting and drawing to crafting, cooking, baking and interior design, creativity has been woven into her everyday world.
For around eight years she also worked extensively with porcelain painting.
As life unfolded and Carina focused on raising her wonderful children, her artistic practice took a quieter place. In December 2023, she return to painting - and immediately she felt how deeply she had missed it. What began as a return quickly grew into a profound reconnection with her creative voice.
In August 2024, Carina enrolled in the Milan Art Institute to develop her artistic skills. This one-year program, combined with close mentorship, helped her to find her signature style and experience her artistic growth.
Today, she is especially passionate about to create mixed media work on canvas.
Carina´s work is inspired by life itself, as well as by signs from the Universe- animals, nature and symbolic repeating numbers. She believes in angelic guidance numbers, and these symbols often appear throughout details woven into every piece.
The artist’s intention is to offer collectors artwork that embodies harmony, positivity and inner balance. She hopes that each painting creates a moment of serenity for the viewer- a quiet sense of peace that feels especially valuable in a world filled with constant motion and stress.
